Cutoff Dates & Refund Guidelines: We understand that sometimes life happens, and plans may need to change. Please review our cancellation policy carefully before registering.
Cancellations before March 1, 2026:
Full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
Cancellations between March 1 and May 1, 2026:
50% refund only if we are unable to fill your spot.
If we can fill your seat with someone from the waitlist, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
Cancellations after May 1, 2026:
No refunds will be issued unless we are able to fill your seat.
If your seat is filled by someone on the waitlist, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
Why these dates: We begin incurring retreat expenses (venue, catering, swag, materials, etc.) well in advance. These cutoff dates allow us to plan responsibly while also offering you flexibility where possible.
Waitlist = Best chance for a refund!: We will maintain a waitlist once registration fills. If you need to cancel and we are able to offer your seat to someone from the list, that’s your best route to a refund.
Disclaimers: The $250 registration fee covers retreat activities only and does not include hotel accommodations or meals outside of those provided during retreat hours. Attendees are responsible for making their own lodging and dining arrangements. We will have a discounted room block available at the event hotel for those who wish to stay on-site, and Roanoke offers a wide range of dining options to fit every taste and budget.

Looking forward to a new retreat about a year away!
I thought the price was high as there are no classes, no meals, just the cost of paying for a chair to sit on. I look forward to see what exactly will happen there.

After reading your comment, I’d love to clarify a bit about what we’re offering at Stitch Ridge. While our retreat does not include structured classes or provided meals, the focus is on creating a relaxed, welcoming environment where stitchers can gather, connect, and enjoy uninterrupted stitching time together.
Your registration fee goes toward much more than just your seat, don't worry! —it helps cover the venue rental (which I pay by person by day), retreat amenities, exclusive retreat goodies, door prizes, and the behind-the-scenes planning required to make the event run smoothly. Many stitchers love this open format because it allows them to work on their own projects at their own pace, while still sharing inspiration and camaraderie with others.
We truly appreciate your feedback, and we’re excited to share all the special touches we’ve been planning once the retreat begins. I think you’ll find it to be a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
